ThIs multiple award nominated entertainer and 2022 TNC AWARD WINNER, Andrew later nicknamed "Celebrity Dru", began his career in entertainment as an on air personality at a local hiphop radio station (Project Bounce 89.5fm) With background in musical production and Djing, Dru's personality and skills with a microphone would eventually make him a dominate name in Toronto's club industry.

Today, Dru continues to maintain his strong corporate ties by routinely doing events with TSI, Toronto Music Therapy Centre, Royal Bank, Volkswagon, Rogers and Bell.  Dru’s background as a DJ began at the early age of 15, where over a 12 years span he would become the resident DJ to 6 of Toronto habours cruiseships. Opportunities to entertain all types of events from weddings to corporate events, allowed him to gain the necessary tools to perform infront of anyone. He would later expand this business allowing others to have the same opportunities to DJ. He is currently one of the top wedding/corporate event Dj’s, in Canada and continues to dominate this industry. 

Being featured at many of Toronto's popular nightclubs, Dru created a strong reputation with his voice and talents and has played at events with many of the worlds top artist like  Drake, Cardi B, Fabolous, Serani, Beenie Man, and Machel Montano.  Actors like Kevin Hart, Russell Peters, and top athletes like Lebron James, Shaquille O’Neil, along with the Leafs, Argos, Blue Jays and Raptors of Toronto.  He has also played along side some of the worlds best Djs like Jazzy Jeff, DJ Envy, Superstar Jay, Walshy Fire, Tony Matterhorn and Fat Man Scoop. He has hosted and opened some of Torontos most historic concerts including most recently, A Boogie, NLE Choppa, Steflon Don, Wu Tang Clan (Reunion), Safaree, Calboy, and Polo G.

In 2020, Dru entered a DJ competition that would showcase his talents and eventually make him an easy choice for DA UNION DJs (based in New York City) to recruit him to their team. As a member of the team, Dru has been able to showcase his talents on DA UNION MIX, as a rotation mixshow DJ on Saturday Nights on Vip Saturdays, Sirius Xm Shade 45.

In 2021 Dru took his talents back to the radio, but this time as a host. Securing a show on FLOW 98.7FM in his home city of Toronto, since then Dru hosts and produces his own show “JUMP START WEEKENDS“ every Saturday and Sunday on Canada’s #1 Hiphop & Rnb Station and has used his platform to feature local artist, while continuing to further his brand as an entertainer on all levels.

Combining these worlds, equals Celebrity Dru. From the Club to the Concert, the Wedding to the Corporate event, there is no question who the person for the job is, as he continues to be in demand in and outside of his home city of Toronto.
